User verification with IDnow
IDnow: This is how identity verification for our owners works
At atraveo by e-domizil, we love working with people. That's why it's important to us to know who our owners are. To this end, we work with IDnow, a professional identity verification provider. This contributes to both security and data protection. Don't worry, this process is very simple and requires no special equipment or technical background knowledge.
It's that simple
Identity verification can be carried out via the IDnow app or browser. All you need is an ID document and a laptop, computer or smartphone with a camera function. The verification process takes place automatically in your native language and you do not have to speak to a real person.
Simply follow these few steps to verify yourself as an owner:

Start IDnow either from your owner area or open the link from the email we sent you. Now simply follow the instructions on the page that opens: you can choose between verification via app or browser. You can access the browser version either by scanning the QR code on your smartphone/tablet or by clicking on the link that is displayed at the bottom of the page. IDnow will now open and you can start the verification process. To do this, click on "Confirm".

Accept the terms of use and click on "Start Identification" to start.

You must then take a photo of your ID document and a video selfie of yourself. Make sure you have good lighting conditions and that your ID document is ready. If it is a little too dark, switch on a light so that the system can capture all the necessary data.

First scan the front of your ID document. Place it within the frame provided on the display and click on the button. The back of your ID document is then scanned. The process remains the same.
5.
In the last step, take a photo of yourself. Click on "Start" and place your face within the frame. By clicking on "Ok, I am ready!", your face will be captured by the system from two perspectives.
6.
This blue tick means that your data has been successfully captured by the system.
7.
Once your data has been successfully checked, you are officially verified as an owner. You can now start renting out your holiday home.
